Silent Spring by Rachel Carson - Book Review
Silent Spring by Rachel Carson is an expertly written environmental science book published in 1962. It focuses on the documentation of detrimental effects that the haphazard use of pesticides has on the environment. In the book, she is vocal about her criticism of chemical industry which she blames for the rampant disinformation that is aimed at ensuring that public official accepts their claims unquestioningly (Carson and Lear). Carson had earlier focused all her attention on conservation efforts and in particular in environmental problems caused pesticides. The result of her new found passion culminated in the writing of Silent Spring(1962) that brought out her environmental concerns with the aim of sharing them with the American public. The following is a review of the book and an analysis of its content. Read the full review at https://uniquewritersbay.com/blog/book-review-silent-spring-rachel-carson/

Rachel Carson: an American Hero
“Silent Spring:” A remarkable, eloquently written piece that ushers fourth the beginnings of positive change on how humanity views itself within the natural world. The writer, Rachel Carson, manages carefully to convey such an incredible dependence we, as human beings, have with nature. A dependence that is made all too precarious with an over reliance on chemicals and poisons for easy solutions. “Silent Spring,” a little book, written in 1962, that to this day brings such fear-filled hatred and hostility from the chemical industry and the politicians and businesses who financially benefit from them. “Silent Spring,” a beautiful heartfelt work. I thank God for Rachel Carson.

Rachel Carlson is an idiot who got fame by promoting nonsense, she is probably directly responsible for millions of deaths, diseased persons so incapacitated it impoverished nations due to the illness of malaria. DDT was never proven to cause the multiple ills she claimed, and quite loudly from her armchair.
